How to Make The Creamiest Scrambled Eggs Ever

Want to know how to make the creamiest scrambled eggs that are perfect for spreading on toast?

Last year, my husband had a slight obsession with Gordon Ramsay. Which is absolutely fine by me! My husband is by far the better natural cook between the two of us so I got to eat delicious meals and the best part was that I didn’t have to cook any of them myself! A win, win for me.

One of the things that he picked up and it became a staple was creamy scrambled eggs.

Creamy scrambled eggs are the best way to eat eggs!

They are high in protein and spread so beautifully on a fresh slice of sourdough toast.

What Makes Eggs Creamy

Making the perfect creamy scrambled eggs has to be one of the best kept secrets. I skimmed through so many recipes to prepare for this post and almost every single one has it wrong!

In almost all of the recipes, they added milk or cream to their eggs. This is not only a bad idea but it doesn’t quite work. Milk makes eggs too runny and makes them easier to burn during the cooking process, which is something that we definitely want to avoid!

What you should be adding to achieve the perfect creamy scrambled eggs is cheese.

While cooking at a low temperature, add cheese to your eggs, stir frequently and I assure you that these will be the best eggs that you have ever made!

What You Need to Make Creamy Scrambled Eggs

  • Eggs
  • Parmesan
  • Dill
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chives

How to Make The Creamiest Scrambled Eggs

Start off by heating a skillet on low heat and place 1 tablespoon of butter into the skillet.

While the butter is melting, crack 4 eggs into a bowl and whisk them together. Gently pour the eggs into the skillet and mix immediately using a rubber spatula.

Add in your cheese and dill. Continue to mix on low heat for 10 minutes until the eggs are soft and creamy, but no longer runny.

Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper and top with chives.

Other Ways to Eat Your Eggs

You don’t have to use dill in this recipe if dill isn’t your favourite! Luckily this recipe also works without it. You could also add the chives in during the cooking process.

You can also substitute parmesan with other types of cheese!
